A group of speedy reds headed to Telford on Sunday with the aim to bring 2018 to the end with 10k PB’s. The race which is billed as not just one of the regions quickest and flattest course but it is listed as one of the best in the country hosted by Telford A.C.
The race which attracts some of the quickest runners in the country did not disappoint with 17 runners finishing the 2 lap race along the flat course in under 30 minutes.
The Couriers finished the year in style with some superb times to note, Matt James improving on his recent Leeds time finished in 35.05, Ryan Knight moved down to the shorter 10k distance and brought his new best time down to 38.07. Ryan Lawrence had a super run to pick up a well deserved new lifetime best in 40.52.
Sheryl Evans was the first Courier lady home in a fantastic time of 43.21, closely followed over the finishing line by Clare Mallender in a time of 43.54. Becky Eversham & Kerry Wathen finished the year maintaining their great form to pick up personal bests in 44.54 & 45.36. Kev Barnes had a good run out finishing in 50.21.
