New Years Day 10k

Some Couriers were not too hung-over as 2011 dawned, according to evidence supplied by the Hereford 10K.

There was a superb run by resurgent Richard Hughes, first over 45 [and 40, come to that !] 7th overall in a pb of 36.46. Luke also registered a fine pb with 38.29 in 13th. Herington followed these two in 41st [42.02] with Kev hitting 43.19 in 55th. Nikki [44.27] held off Pete [44.31] who had spent the previous fortnight manfully supporting the Christmas pudding industry, finishing in 69th and 70th respectively. 210 runners completed the course. It was good to see John Norton striding out at his usual brisk pace !

And so on to the third of this season’s X-Cs at Monkhall on Sunday. Dave Williams expects………
