HEREFORDSHIRE & BORDERS CROSS COUNTRY LEAGUE WINTER

RACE 1: FFOREST FIELDS, BUILTH 
Results from the weekend are in, a storming team effort by all of the team!
 
For the league standings the ladies currently sit in 2nd place & the men are in 3rd and 4th!
 
Probably our best turnout as a club to field 6 men’s and 3 female teams! 😎🎉
 
We look forward to seeing you all at Croft Castle next in November!
 
 
There will be 4 races in the winter series.

🏃‍♀️ Race 1: Sunday 10th Oct, Fforest Fields Nr Builth Wells
🏃‍♂️ Race 2: Sunday 14th Nov, Croft Castle Nr Leominster.
🏃‍♀️ Race 3: Sunday 5th December, NEW Venue Nr Ross-on-Wye (TBC)
🏃‍♂️ Race 4: Sunday 6th February, Presteigne (TBC)
 
*Potential County Champs race at Rotherwas in January* 
 
All participating clubs have agreed to stage a race, either individually or in conjunction with another club.
 
Further details on the format, scoring and rules of competition will be decided at the next meeting, so please feel free to send in any suggestions through your clubs representative.
There is also likely to be an off-road league in the summer, with races over slightly shorter distances.
After almost 2 years, we can finally look forward to the return of cross country in Herefordshire!

A big thank you to Presteigne Pacers & Hay Hotfooters for putting on yesterdays race, a special mention to Mike B for organising the series.

Race 4 2019 – Rotherwas Results.

A big thank you to Hereford Triathlon Club for putting on today’s race, the final race of the winter league is at Presteigne early February (full details to follow)

Race 3 2019 Results  – Queenswood Country Park: Sunday December 1st, 2019

Congratulations to everyone who turned out to the 3rd race of the Herefordshire XC Winter League today, A fantastic effort by the team of Reds who put in great performances on the trails of the Queenswood Course. 

We had a First place in both the men’s and women’s races with Matt James & Katie Synge-Curtis putting in great performances on a challenging course. Matt was joined by Tom Synge-Curtis, Jake Underhill & Ross Cameron to pick up first male team too.
