HEREFORD COURIERS VIRTUAL CHRISTMAS 10k RACE

VIRTUAL FESTIVE WINS FOR BOZIER & EDDY

RUNNERS Stephen Bozier & Joanna Eddy came out on top in the Virtual Christmas 10k Race

The race was another successful virtual race held by the Hereford Couriers with 74 finishers from all across the uk, competing virtually by creating their own course and tracking their run while maintaining the government’s social distancing guidelines.

In the men’s race, North Wales Road Runners member Stephen Bozier was the fastest recording a time 41:20 to seal victory. 

He was chased virtually all the way by local runners Tim Bennett who finished in a time of 42:03 with Jamie Griffiths picking up 3rd place in 44:50.

Quickest female was local runner Joanna Eddy who finished in first position in a fantastic time of 41:42

Second place was Hereford & County youngster Eva Tyler, who finished her first 10k race in 46:46, ahead of Builth & District Running Club’s Gunvor Troelsen who finished in 3rd place in a time of 51:04
