New Year, same great performances.

Couriers NYDA team of Couriers took on the annual New Years Day Wye Valley 10k, hosted by our neighbours New Valley Runners. The conditions we’re great for racing, it was a great opportunity to burn off those Christmas calories or blow away those new years’ hangovers.

We had 18 reds taking on the undulating course which started on Great Western Way before looping around the hilly roads of Breinton, The Couriers performed well picking up prizes and PB’s on a tough course. Barry Reynolds had another great run to finish in 2nd place in a time of 34:27, Naomi Prosser finished strong in 30th place in a time of 43:03 to pick up the 3rd lady prize, Steve Herington had a good run finishing in 65th place overall and 1st +Vet 70 Male in a time of  46:46. Barry was joined by Bobby Prichard (6th) and Liam Tosh (10th) to receive the men’s team prize.
